All Clean!

Today my mom and I went into my room and (with a lot of her help) the room is ready for the summer now!!!!!!

One of the big accomplishments we made was cleaning out the coatroom. Here are some before pictures...

And now!

I guess those aren't the exact same views..... but suffice it to say that I am feeling so relieved that the 25-year-old garbage is cleaned out. :)

Here is a blurry view of the whole room....
Look at that rippled carpet! You know you want some in your room. :)

And I still have to tackle this bad boy:
But we'll save that for another day. :)

This evening I went on a boat ride with my fam:
and tomorrow I'll spend the day going through 6 boxes of books I don't want in my classroom!

Hope your weekend was fabulous!

  6. Don't you just love 25 year old junk (not!). A bunch of teachers in my building were asked to change classrooms- they were holding on to that old junk like it was gold! I wanted to start a new show called teacher hoarders! There were books that were at least 30 years old that they were wanting to keep on shelves. Really??? I guess that is my obsessive neat-nick side coming out. I bet it will look amazing when you are done.
